Hove YMCA Parental Support Group June/ July

The parental support group offers parents and carers therapeutic support particularly if they are experiencing difficulties relating to their teenage children. This is especially designed for parents who are experiencing a communication breakdown between child leaving which leaves the parent feeling powerless and angry. This support group will allow parents to explore how their own experience and expectations will impact on the relationship between their teenage son or daughter. They will also be able to learn strategies for effective communication to develop mutal respect and understanding.

There will be 8 sessions on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30 pm. The sessions will run from the 3rd June to the 29th July.

Please contact Hove YMCA Therapeutic Services for further information and to book a place on 01273 707782 or alteratively email them at: therapeuticservices@hoveymca.org.uk
