Want to get involved in your local community? Can you offer some of your time enthusiastically and regularly? If so, there are so many ways to get involved in all our different projects at Hove YMCA.

Work with Young People in our youth clubs, Youth Inclusion Project, or housing projects.

Work with Older People in the lunch club or weekly creative activities

Get Sporty! With children and young people in our schools, holiday and community projects.

Inform and Advise young people in our drop-in, housing services or job
clubs in one of our advice centers.

Support for Volunteers
We value our volunteers and want to offer each individual the support needed for an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for volunteers, staff and service users. We offer
- Comprehensive induction
- Appropriate training
- Regular support from your supervisor, staff and other volunteers
- Accreditation including UK Youth Achievement Awards, Brighton & Hove Youth Awards, Sports Leaders Awards and Duke of Edinburgh Awards
- Reimbursement of reasonable expenses

- Volunteer celebration events
Additionally, we have two specific volunteer projects to help with recruitment, the application process, coordinating opportunities and ongoing support and recognition.
