Hove YMCA Support WorkerOdyssey is a drug education project that aims to prevent problematic drug use amongst young people aged 13-18. We do this by distributing information to young people on the streets, delivering activities around drug issues in the youth centres and by supporting other young people's workers to provide the right kind of information to young people that they work with.
Odyssey also provides training for young people's workers. Sessions explore the effects of drugs, ways of helping young people reduce the risks associated with drug use, identifying problematic drug use and how to respond to drug related incidents in the workplace. The project is a partnership between Hove YMCA and Brighton & Hove Youth Service.
