Sports Coaching at the Hove YMCA
The Sports Leaders Programme offers young people the chance to learn invaluable skills whilst taking responsibilty in a secure environment supervised by experienced coaches. We are an accrediated centre delivering a range of sport leader UK sport leadership award programme.
As experienced coaches we have developed a range of programmes to meet the needs of young people, especially for those that are challenging and disengaged. We are also able to deliver tailored programmes at your school/centre or at our centre in Hove.
The types of award young people can gain are as follows:
- Senior Sports Leaders Programme: In partnership with Brighton & Hove Youth Service, NACRO (E2E) and Brighton & Hove Albion FC we deliver a Sports Leaders Level 1 and 2 and FA Level 1 Football Coach programme for 16-25 year olds
- Junior Sport Leaders Programme: Delivering Sports Leader Level 1 Sport Leadership Award for Years 10 & 11
- Introduction to Sport Leadership: We deliver Sports Leaders UK ‘Introduction to Sport Leadership’ for school Years 5&6 and &,8&9
