The Sussex Central YMCA Offers Services In Schools
The Sussex Central YMCA has been expanding into a number of schools across Brighton and Hove. Our aims are to develop partnerships with local schools, provide specialist assistance and promote emotional and physical wellbeing.
We offer a range of services in over 30 schools across the local area including:
- Sports Programmes from qualified coaches in schools and at our centre.
- Counselling for children and families accessed through local schools.
- Family Support with our specialist team of workers on the Linx project.
- Homelessness Prevention Workshops for Schools is run by the Peer Education Project, a group of young people who have used their own experiences of housing and homelessness; to design, develop and deliver a fun and informative session to pupils.
